Atomic introduced BOA® last season, and this year it’s coming to the newly designed Atomic Hawx Prime 85 BOA W GW Ski Boots. With a fresh clean exterior, easier step-in and even more effective Memory Fit heat molding (do this at your Atomic dealer), the Hawx Prime 85 BOA® adds a BOA® Fit System lower cable closure that distributes pressure more evenly over the top of the foot and can be dialed in with the utmost of precision for the perfect balance of comfort and control.
Fit
Last: 100 mm– Designed for average width feet with average and slightly taller insteps.
Adaptive Fit Cuff System– These boots come with a special spoiler in the back of the cuff. If you want a classic, cozy fit around the calf you can just leave the spoiler in. If you want more volume you can take the spoiler out. This makes the boot cuff slightly lower at the back, more tuliped and more open (equivalent to one cuff size larger). It’s quick, easy and you don’t need tools.
Low Cuff – All Sizes– Designed for improved comfort with women’s calves
Flex
Flex: 85– A medium stiff flex for balanced power and response for intermediate to advanced skiers.
Liner
3D Bronze Liner– Features Asymmetric Liner Construction with an asym tongue, toe box, collar shape and high-quality lining materials.
Shell Materials & Design
Shell– Polyurethane
Cuff– Polyurethane
Prolite– Instead of starting with a standard construction and cutting material away to save weight, Prolite does the opposite. It starts with the slimmest possible profile and then builds up reinforcements in key areas where strength is needed – like the Energy Backbone down each boot spine.
Stance
Forward Lean– 15˚
Shell Rotation– 3˚

BOA® Fit System Lower Closure– Allows more even distribution of pressure over the forefoot and instep and infinite precise adjustment.

- Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced Intermediate-AdvancedWhether you’re a progressing intermediate exploring new runs and terrain, or an accomplished rider seeking new thrills, the majority of skiers and snowboarders fall into this level. Intermediate to advanced skis and snowboards may be somewhat wider or stiffer than beginner-intermediate skis and snowboards, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Intermediate to advanced boots and bindings range from softer flexing freestyle options to stiffer choices built for stability at speed.
