Smooth runs with perfect grooming call for a frontside specialist like the Dynastar E-Pro 85 + XP 11 Bindings. The E-Pro 85 is designed to lock you into short-to-medium radius turns for the time of your life, and keeps it smooth and confident with the addition of damp Polyurethane integrated into the Poplar wood core and a frame of Titanal over it all. Torsionally stiff Sandwich Full Sidewall design tops off this package that makes you look like a winner at all speeds.

Rocker Type

Tip & Tail Rocker– Rocker facilitates the flat pivot while combining softness and tolerance in the curves. The rocker is moderated so that as soon as the ski is on the edge, the ski works in curve on the whole length of contact of the edges.

Sidecut

Adaptive Sidecut– Adaptative Sidecut offers a smooth transition between the sidecut underfoot and the tip and tail geometry. This technology brings smoothness on hard and powder snow.

Core

Hybrid Core– Dynastar’s best solution for a unique on-snow feeling: blending the performance of wood with the lightness and smooth snow feel of PU.

Terrain: Carving, All-Mountain CarvingFor those that like the classic feeling of laying a ski over on edge and arcing a perfect turn, carving skis are what you want. These skis have narrower waists and shorter turn radii for edge to edge quickness and responsive turn initiation and exit on groomed runs and hard pack. The beginner-intermediate skis in this category are designed to make learning how to turn as easy as going from pizza to French fries. All-MountainAll-mountain skis are designed to handle anything you throw at them including powder, ice, groomers, steeps, heavy snow, and everything in between, but they aren’t necessarily a master of any one terrain. If you’re only going to own one ski to do it all, this is what you want. All-mountain skis generally have what we call mid-fat waists that range from 80-110 mm.

Intermediate to advanced skis and snowboards may be somewhat wider or stiffer than beginner-intermediate skis and snowboards, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Intermediate to advanced boots and bindings range from softer flexing freestyle options to stiffer choices built for stability at speed.

Rocker Type: Rocker/Camber/Rocker Rocker/Camber/RockerRocker/Camber/Rocker skis have the playfulness and float of a rockered ski as well as the added edge hold of a cambered ski. The contact points on skis with this profile are closer towards the middle of the ski than a fully cambered ski, but still not underfoot. The cambered midsection provides a longer effective edge on hardpack, increasing edge hold and stability, while the rockered tip and tail provide floatation in deeper snow and allow the ski to initiate and release from turns easier.
