Some people predict that the new alpine Boa® systems are going to slither in to a lukewarm reception; we think they’re going to roar on the ski boot scene like an avalanche – and one of the main reasons is the new Salomon S/Pro Supra BOA 120 Ski Boots. Just when you thought the Custom Shell HD fit on the best-selling S/Pro 120 couldn’t get any better, the Boa® Fit System evens out the pressure over the top of your foot and makes it possible to tension the boot tighter with less discomfort and looser with better control – you can dial the tension up or down incrementally by reversing directions on the dial. The S/Pro Supra Boa® 120 also uses an improved My Exowrap™ 4D Performance liner and updated shell construction using Sensafit Mesh rather than the previous CoreFrame.
Fit
Custom Shell HD– Salomon’s proven heat molding process makes boot fitting most feet quick and easy – the latest Custom Shell HD version is even quicker to mold than before. The thinner wall construction and new shell materials allow the foot to be closer to the shell and provide enhanced sensations, more power and direction energy transmission.

- Ability Level: Advanced-Expert Advanced-ExpertWhether you charge the steepest lines, hit the biggest jumps in the park or carve with race-like precision, advanced to expert level skis, snowboards, boots and bindings are for the more aggressive rider. In skis and snowboards, you’ll often find layers of metal, carbon or other stringers for rigidity and power, while advanced to expert level boots and bindings are usually on the stiffer side of the spectrum for rebound and precision steering.
